Las hidrazinas o hidracinas son compuestos orgánicos considerados derivados de la hidrazina (NH2-NH2), a través de la sustitución de uno o más átomos de hidrógeno, por lo tanto su fórmula general es R2N-NR2, donde las R pueden ser átomos de hidrógeno, grupos arilos o alquilos.
Estos compuestos se nombran como derivados de la hidrazina, es decir, se debe emplear el sufijo hidrazina. Se emplean los localizadores 1 y 2 para señalar sustituciones, o sea, N y N’.
NOMENCLATURA PARA LAS HIDRAZINAS
Tanto para el sistema IUPAC como para el sistema Común, las hidrazinas se nombran colocando primero el nombre de los radicales, seguido de la palabra hidrazina (hidracina). La numeración de los carbonos se inicia desde el carbono que está conectado al grupo funcional -NH-NH2.
