- 1 cuchara plástica
- Colorante vegetal de tu preferencia
Procedimiento:
- En uno de los recipientes, añade una cucharadita de bórax y suficiente agua como para que se disuelva. Mezcla bien hasta que se disuelva por completo.
- En el otro recipiente, agrega una pequeña cantidad de pegamento. Si quieres darle color, puedes añadir un par de gotas de colorante artificial.
- Agrega una cucharada de la solución de bórax al pegamento. Mientras vas agitando la mezcla, percibirás que se empezará a formar una textura viscosa en el pegamento y se empezará a pegar a la cuchara. Déjala reposar por 30 segundos.
- No pasa nada si tocas el plástico con las manos, de hecho es necesario que lo manipules para que lo puedas moldear a tu antojo.
- Recuerda que a medida que le agregues más ácido bórico al pegamento, nuestro plástico quedará más duro y compacto. Al contrario quedará como una especie de slime.
Explicación

Por su parte, los plásticos son, materiales sintéticos derivados del petróleo, obtenidos mediante procesos de polimerización, es decir, de multiplicación semi-natural de largas cadenas de átomos de carbono, dando así origen a una sustancia orgánica maleable en caliente y resistente en frío.
Lo que genera la propiedad de plástico en este caso es el acetato de polivinilo que contiene el pegamento blanco. Este polímero se obtiene mediante la polimerización del acetato de vinilo.
En el caso del ácido bórico (ácido inorgánico), su función es proporcionarle dureza y consistencia al plástico casero.
